What We Do
What We Do

Professional Coaching

We focus on helping individuals find and/or create their own optimum conditions for satisfaction and success in work and life. We enable professionals to reach their full potential.

Personal and professional development is an ongoing journey.  None of us ever really "arrive," but we continue our pursuit of the best life we can have, both personally and professionally.  THRIVE TO BE seeks to help people on their journeys by providing professional coaching services.

Our coaching services are completely customized to meet the needs of the professional.  Our coaching model is based on the Co-Active Coaching model, provided by the Coaches Training Institute, and provides opportunity for the coach and client to design an alliance that works most effectively to meet the client's needs.

  • Assessment and Development Planning
  • Development Coaching Sessions
  • Transition

It's critical that the coach and client have an excellent rapport throughout the coaching relationship, and so Thrive offers a complimentary first session so that you can experience what coaching is all about and get to know your potential coach. Contact us if you'd like to arrange your complimentary first session.

Discovery

Together, the coach and client identify the client's goals for coaching and establish the parameters of the coaching relationship.

Together we reach:

  • An understanding of what the client hopes to accomplish through coaching
  • A coaching agreement that outlines the client and coach's work together

Assessment & Development Planning

We look at a variety of assessment tools to identify those that are best to help the client gain a self-awareness of strengths and potential de-railers. Together, the coach and client develop a personal development plan establishing clear goals.

Some of the typical assessment tools may include:
  • Life Styles Inventory (LSI)
  • StrengthsFinder
  • Myers Briggs (MBTI)
  • Strong Interest Inventory

1:1 Coaching Sessions

Based upon the assessment stage and established goals, together the client and coach will identify the most critical areas to focus attention during the coaching sessions.

Following are examples of potential themes:

  • Career Transition - Preparing for What's Next
  • Leading vs. Managing - Shifting Roles
  • Coaching For Success
  • Achieving Full Engagement through High-Impact Discussions
  • Work Styles - Learning to Adapt to Different Styles
  • Achieving the Ever-Elusive Work/Life Balance
  • Conflict as a Necessity - Driving Better Outcomes
  • Change and Transition - How Do I Cope and How Do I Help Others Cope?
  • Effective Communication - Individual and Corporate Communication Strategies

Transition

As the coaching relationship nears its end, the client and coach will reflect on what has been achieved and identify a plan for the client to move forward in a positive, growth-oriented way.
